Past activities

    Agroforestry project, in Banteay Chhmar commune, Thmor Puok district, Banteay meanchey province. Planed 27 ha of construction and fruit tree seedlings, served to 5 villages, from April to December, 1993. Later on, in October, 1994, we phase out to Village Community.

    Agricultural extension through machinery, in Khvao commune, Samrong district, Takeo province. Served to 18 villages, started in April 1993 and phase out to Village Community June, 1995.

    Dug total 30 hand-dug wells, 28 wells located in Svay Chhor Chep commune, Baset district of Kompong. Speu province served to 28 villages. 2 wells located in Banteay Chhmar commune, Thmor Puok district, Banteay meanchey province. Phase out to Villagers Community to take care for themselves, in December 1994.

    Repairing secondary roads, total 32 km, served to 27 villages. Located in the communes of Tuol Ampil, Phearymeanchey, Kak, Preah Khe and Nitean of Baset distritc, Kg. Spue province, in 1994.

    Dug 3 families ponds, located in Ang Phnom Touch commune, Angkor Chey district, Kampot province. Served to 3 villages, in 1994, phase out to villagers to take care them.

    Trained 300 core group leaders, local leaders ( district, commune and village level ) of government staff in Samrong district of Takeo province, about developmentation and environment protection from 1995-96.

    Trained to 20 core staff of local NGOs on development, environment, secondary road repairing, pond digging, nursery setting, credit scheme, how to conduct the survey, rice bank, and community building for period of 3 months, in 1995.

    Organized and formed a development center, growth 100,000 seedlings and distributed to 100 villagers and 20 services. Located in Samrong district of Takeo province.
